Founded in 1965, Halstead Swimming Club is one of the friendliest competitive swimming clubs in Essex; amazing, hardworking kids, coaches and parents.

We are a small, but mighty swimming club supporting Halstead and the surrounding villages: Earls Colne, Colne Engaine, Sible Hedingham, Bures and beyond...... Halstead SC trains out of the Halstead Leisure Centre, offering progressive squads, training competitive swimmers from 7 years old, but also offers sessions for those who wish to return to swimming after time away, or extend their fitness, and gain a competitive edge - with the Masters or Senior B squads.

We have teams and swimmers that have competed successfully at League, County, Regional and National levels, but most importantly, we have swimmers that endeavour to swim their hearts out and meet each event with the determination to swim faster than they have ever swum before, beating personal bests, by a little or a lot. They have the opportunity to compete in amazing venues like the Olymic London Aquatic Centre, or the National venue Ponds Forge in Sheffield, as well as venues all around the East of England.

Our swimmers train hard, but build extraordinary resilience, discipline, strength and stamina. All the while making friends for life and having fun.
